Australian software studio
Apps and software that ship.
Mobile apps, web platforms and APIs for Australian businesses. Founder-led and fixed-scope, with a quote in AUD before work starts and a working demo every week.
Live products on iOS and Android.
Services
Four things, done properly
We don't do everything. We build apps, websites, back ends and AI features, the pieces most Australian businesses actually need, and we build them to be maintained, not just launched.
Mobile app development
iOS and Android from one codebase with React Native and Expo. We handle the whole lifecycle: push notifications, offline sync, App Store and Google Play review, and the updates that follow.
Websites & web apps
Fast, search-friendly marketing sites and full web applications on Next.js and React. Pages that load instantly, rank well, and are easy for your team to update without calling a developer.
APIs & integrations
Node.js and Express back ends on MongoDB or PostgreSQL, payment flows, and integrations that make the tools you already pay for talk to each other instead of to spreadsheets.
AI & automation
Practical AI that earns its keep. We built Limbo's booking-email parser; we can bring the same kind of feature to your product, plus internal automations and chat or agent integrations.
Featured work
Products we've shipped, not mocked up
Both of these are live in the App Store and Google Play today, with real users and real reviews. Judge us by what's in production.

How we work
No discovery-phase theatre. A clear scope, a fixed price, and working software you can see every week.
- 01
Scope it
A call, a written scope, and a fixed quote in AUD. You know the price and the timeline before a line of code is written, and if we're not the right fit, we'll say so.
- 02
Build it
Weekly demos of real, working software, not status decks. You watch the product take shape and steer while changes are still cheap.
- 03
Ship it
We handle launch: App Store and Google Play review, hosting, domains and analytics. Repositories and accounts can be client-controlled during delivery, and ownership of paid custom deliverables transfers on full payment.
Why Appalanche
Founder-led, and that's the point
Appalanche is run by Moe Daghostani, and the person who scopes your project is the person who builds it. Small on purpose: no account managers relaying messages, no juniors learning on your budget, no agency layer between you and the work.
A direct line to the builder
Questions go straight to the person writing the code. Decisions take a message, not a meeting chain, and nothing is lost in a handover.
Australian timezone, Australian terms
Based in New South Wales. Calls in your working hours, quotes in AUD, and an Australian company behind the contract.
We run our own software in production
Limbo is our own product, live on iOS and Android with 5,000+ downloads. We build client work the way we build things we have to maintain ourselves.
You own the IP
Repositories and project accounts can sit under your control during delivery. Once the engagement is paid in full, ownership of the custom code, designs and documentation transfers to you.
Questions, answered straight
How much does a project cost?
Every project gets a fixed quote in AUD before we start, so there are no hourly surprises. As a rough guide, a marketing website is our smallest engagement, a web app or API build sits in the middle, and a full iOS-and-Android app is the largest. Tell us your budget on the scoping call and we'll tell you honestly what it buys.
How long will my project take?
Websites typically ship in weeks; mobile apps and larger platforms take a few months depending on scope. Your quote includes a timeline, and weekly demos mean you see working software every week, not just at the end.
Who actually builds my project?
Moe Daghostani, Appalanche's founder. The person you scope the project with is the person who writes the code. There's no handover to a different team after the first call.
Can you work with our existing team or codebase?
Yes. We can audit an existing codebase, take over a stalled build, add features to a live product, or work alongside your in-house developers. We review the repo before quoting so the estimate reflects reality.
What happens after launch?
On full payment, you own the custom code, designs and documentation created for your engagement. Repositories and project accounts can be set up under your control, so you're not locked in. If you want us to stay on, we offer ongoing support: monitoring, bug fixes, App Store and Google Play updates, and new feature work.
Where are you based?
New South Wales, Australia. We work with B2B clients across the country, and calls, demos and support all happen in Australian business hours. Appalanche is a brand of Wicked Funnels Pty. Ltd., an Australian company (ABN 18 616 868 350).
You'll speak directly with Moe, the founder who scopes and builds the work.
Tell us what you're building
Send through a brief, a sketch, or just the problem. You'll get a straight answer and a fixed quote in AUD.
